Westin Hotel Nusa Dua

I stayed at the Westin Hotel during my short holiday in Bali. The hotel is located in Nusa Dua which is an area that houses most of the expensive hotels in Bali. If you would like to live in an area that's quiet this would be the perfect place. But if you would like to be close to all the clubs, tourist areas and busy beaches than Nusa Dua is definitely not your ideal location.




Hotel Room

As an SPG Platinum member we were fortunate enough to be given a suite during our stay. The suite was a little dated and smaller compared with other Starwood properties I've stayed.











We did however like the oversized balcony which overlooked the swimming pool and gym.




Amenities
This hotel is filled with a lot of recreational amenities such as tennis, water sports, spa and a 24 hour fully-equipped gym. There's even a kids club to cater for families.











What we liked were the over-sized cocoons that were all over the hotel. These over-sized couches were great for a shaded rest in the beach.




Service
Service in the hotel was a little inconsistent. The front desk were attentive and always had a smile and the concierge the other way round. We did have an issue where we called for water "twice" in the middle of the night but it never did come.


Club Lounge
There is a club lounge that provides complimentary internet access, a light lunch and cocktails in the evening. It is a little old in my opinion and could do with some refurbishment.








Overall this is quite a nice hotel if you do not mind the dated rooms. It offers a wide variety of activities both for adults and children and has a beautiful beach and pool. This is definitely a good place to relax. For more photos you could visit my Flickr Set.
